Fall is almost here, which means it’s time for all that autumn aesthetic we know and love – including falling leaves! Maple leaves, in particular, are so gorgeous in the fall in their blazing colors. How about making some “permanent” crochet maple leaves this fall? Use them as appliques, garland / bunting in your home decor, or just make a whole bunch to decorate centerpieces throughout your home for the “falling leaves” effect! They’re quick and easy to make, and don’t use much yarn, which also makes this fun pattern a great stash-buster!

The leaf pattern uses the chain and single crochet, as well as the slip stitch. The pattern uses about 40 yards of medium weight yarn per leaf, and calls for an H/8 5.00 crochet hook. A full/detailed list of abbreviations and supplies can be found in the pattern. The difficulty level for this pattern is Easy.

Each finished leaf measures about 6 inches in length.
