Fallen Embers sprang out in a sudden moment of inspiration while I was contemplating what to do with a single, special skein of yarn. During my teen years, Fallen Embers by Enya was one of my favorite songs and my mind’s eye connected it with the deep red shade of my special yarn. I envisioned a shower of falling sparks and an intricate star motif formed by interlacing cables and twisted stitches. I hope this design will inspire you to break out your own special skein and create something to wear and love.

Pattern has been tech edited and tested.
