Falling Flowers is a top-down, circular yoke blouse. The collar is worked in Italian Tubular cast-on; short rows are worked at the back of the neck and stranded color is featured at the yoke and down the three quarter-length sleeves. Wide circumference sleeves quickly narrow and conclude with seed stitch at the cuffs. Video tutorials and options for bust shaping are included in the pattern.

Two samples are shown: The model in size B (Knit Picks Palette Clematis and Seraphim) and C (Woolstok Fine Driftwood and Deep Velvet). Model is 5’7” / 170 cm. and bust: 35.5 in. / 90 cm.

When choosing a size, it may be more accurate to consider the upper chest measurement, bicep measurement and/or collar measurements, rather than using only the full chest circumference. The objective would be to fit the garment to the torso dimensions (rather than the full chest measurement) to get the best fit at the shoulders.

Construction and notes
The garment is knit top-down in the round. Italian Tubular CO is used to begin at the collar. Charts for multiple sizes are provided to create the stranded yoke and sleeve designs. Seed stitch is worked at the cuffs. Turned hem and 3-needle bind off is used at the hem. Tutorial links are provided in the pattern for Italian Tubular cast on, backward loop cast on, bust darts, and turned hem techniques.

Modifications can be made to the length of the body. In-between sizes can modify the fit of the bust by moving sleeves toward the back of the garment or adding bust darts.

At this writing, sizes A, F, G, H, I and J have not been test knitted. If you are interested in testing one of these sizes, please contact me via private message.
