Falling Leaves is a cute little unisex knitted baby cardigan featuring angled, textured leaves that appear to drift down the front. The knitting pattern is suitable for a single skein of hand-dyed variegated sock yarn.

This quick and easy one-piece jacket is constructed from the top down. The body is knitted flat and the sleeves are knitted either flat or in the round. German short-rows are used to create both the leaves and the corresponding background contours.

The knitting pattern instructions include five sizes (newborn – 3 months, 3 - 6, 6 - 12, 12 - 18 months and 18 months to 2 years – a second skein is needed for the largest size). Detailed written instructions are included, as well as a schematic diagram. All measurements are given in both metric and imperial units.
