Falling Seasons Shawl is a crescent shaped shawl that is knitted in mostly garter stitch, increasing gradually to a depth of 12 inches and then decreasing gradually to a total blocked length of 70 inches. Simple garter stitch with casting on, binding off, increasing with M1’s and decreasing with K2tog’s makes this shawl appear intricate but simple enough for advanced beginner knitters. Originally knitted in fingering weight yarn, it can be easily knitted in a variety of different weight yarns.
