This scarf features the beautiful star stitch. The infinity scarf is quite stretchy and one size should fit over a range of head circumferences. It is designed to be looped twice over the head, with a bit of negative ease over the head for a snug fit at the neck.

Suggested hook size: 6.5mm

Yarn weight: aran/heavy worsted/medium/ yarn weight 4.

I would suggest a heavy aran yarn. You can also use a chunky yarn but may need to drop one hook size or recalculate starting stitches.

Suggested yarn: Scheepjes River Washed XL or Stone Washed XL (weight 4)
OR Yarnsmiths Lagoon chunky (weight 5)

Gauge: 8 stitches and 4 repeats
of blo star stitch pattern = 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in)
Gauge is not very important, I give instructions how to adapt the scarf for a yarn with a different gauge.
