The Fallsdale Cabled hat is a great beginner pattern for those who are new to knitting cables. It is a classic style hat that can be knit as a slouch or a rolled brim hat. You can even add a pom-pom if you like. There are so many ways to make this hat your favorite hat!
Needles: US 7 4.5 mm 16” circular, US 8 5 mm 16” circular,
1 Set Double-Pointed Needles: US 8 5 mm.
Tools: Cable needle, stitch markers, darning needle.
GAUGE: 18 sts = 4”; 24 rows = 4” in pattern stitch.
CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge.
Hat circumference is 22”. One size fits most women.
