To introduce my latest pattern, Fan Flair will be sold at a 20% discount through April 15th.

Fan Flair is a crescent-shaped, top down lace shawl. Two lace designs are used in alternating columns. The edge of the shawl is then finished in the “Fan Flare” stitch pattern. The depth of the edging is adjustable and is explained in the pattern.

I recommend a solid or tonal color for the lace design. Any type yarn - speckled, self-striping, or variegated can be used for the edging.

There are only five stitches used in the lace columns and edging, therefore, the pattern is charted only. Specific instructions for the use of the charts is included. This is the perfect pattern for the adventurous beginner wanting to make their first lace shawl, however, the pattern is not repetitious to become boring for more advanced knitters.

Suggestions for placing beads have been included, as well as beading instructions.

Happy Knitting!!
