These lacy mitts are both fashionable and functional. Your hands will be warm and cozy but you will have good mobility for driving and texting, but not at the same time of course.
The mitts are knit in the round using double pointed needles and the pattern is written for two sizes - Ladies Small/Medium and Ladies Large/Ex.Large.
The mitts start with a provisional cast on and progress into a double faced knitted fabric which not only keeps its shape but also is an additional warmth feature.
Row by row instructions are given for the thumb gusset and the lace stitch design is easy to follow using either the written or the lace chart form.
The palms of these mitts are knit in stocking stitch.
The top, thumb and the cuff edges are all finished with an applied I Cord cast off which gives an attractive finished edge.
This design matches my Fancy Free Cowl which is also available for purchase at my Ravelry Store.
