Knitting Pattern for a sweater with a combination of horizontal and vertical stripes, round neck with a double folded collar, straight body and sleeves in sizes 1-2 | 2-3 | 3-4 (4-5 | 5-6 | 7-8) 9-10 | 11-12 | 13-14 years.

Structure:
First, the shoulder parts are worked horizontally as a small panel. To shape the shoulders, you first work increases, then decreases. For the front part, there are additional decreases and increases to shape the round neck. Afterwards, stitches are picked up along the outermost edge of front and back part to work a few centimeters of front and back part in stockinette stitch in rows, before both parts are joined to the round with casting on new stitches under the armpits. Now the body is finished in rounds and with a hem in 2x2 ribbing. Then, stitches for the sleeves are picked up along the armholes and they are worked in stockinette stitch in rounds and finished with a hem in1x1 ribbed pattern. Last but not least, a double folded collar in 1x1 ribbed pattern is added to the round neck of the sweater.
The fit of the sweater is relaxed, the sleeves are wide and tighten at the cuffs’. The combination of vertical stripes of the shoulder section and horizontal stripes of bodyandsleevescreatesan interesting, modern and exciting look for a simple striped sweater, who might become a wardrobe staple.
