Fancy Scrunchie
The Fancy Scrunchie is worked in rounds, starting by working into the hair elastic and then building outward from there. You can make it in three different sizes, depending on how many rounds you’d like to work, and there’s also the option of adding a border.
This is a beginner-friendly project, but it does help to already know how to do a slip knot, single crochet (US terms), half double crochet, and slip stitch.
You can use any yarn you like - just match your hook to the yarn label’s recommendation. I used acrylic yarn, Aran weight (medium), with a 5mm hook. You’ll also need a hair elastic (any size, though I’d avoid the very small ones used for mini braids).
A full video tutorial is also available inside my Crochet Subscription (7-day free trial) - all the info are in the blog post.
