An elegant Tudor style knitted sleeve with a textured wrist and flared cuff. A tab at the sleeve top is made to pin under the bodice strap of the overdress and stabilize the sleeve for general wear. This sleeve is fashioned after textile finds dated to the late 1500’s and is a good addition to your Tudor kit when done in white, and your Italian kit when done in red. Living history buffs should really enjoy making and wearing this sleeve for everyday wear. This pattern comes in two sizes, S/M(L/XL). Using a lace weight (#1) yarn will result in a proportionately smaller sleeve--since the pattern directions lean to counting rows instead of inches, just follow the pattern for a more petite size.
