In 2021 I decided to renew one of my most popular patterns. It turned out to be the ★ Fancy Sleeves V Sweater ★.

This knitting pattern is English. There’s also one in Dutch available in my Etsy-shop.

The sweater can be knitted by experienced knitters. I believe that the sweater is not very difficult to knit, but you do need some experience.
• Knit (K) and purl (P) stitches alternated (rib stitch)
• Knit (K) and purl (P) rows alternated (stockinette stitch)
• Slip stitch knitwise: slip the needle knitwise through the back loop and slip it onto the right needle without knitting.
• Slip stitch purlwise: slip the needle purlwise through the front loop and slip it onto the right needle without knitting.
• K2Tog: knit two stitches together (knitwise)
• P2Tog: purl two stitches together (purlwise)
• Mattress stitch (to seam the sweater up)

The sweater is worked up in four separate parts: back, front and two sleeves. After working the back and front, you will seam the shoulders and side seams using the mattress stitch. Then you pick up stitches around the armhole and work up the sleeves with circular needles. For this knitting pattern you need straight knitting needles 6 mm and 8 mm and circular knitting needles 7 mm and 5 mm .
