Made with Bernat Tizzy yarn, this bright play mat is fun for babies of all ages. The texture of the yarn does double-duty as a great tactile experience for infants and as a cushion for when that cute, big head just won’t stay up.

The finished mat can also be used as a travel blanket or photo prop.

Stitches you’ll need to know: sc, dc, inc, dc2tog, join new color of yarn

Materials:

• 1 ball each Bernat Tizzy in four color. This pattern uses Blue Skies, Creamsicle, Orange, Dandelion Yellow.
• 9.00mm crochet hook (N)
• Tapestry or yarn needle for finishing
