This is the pattern for a fantail goldfish appliqué. I do have this pattern available for free on my website if you would prefer that option. The link is down below, but I’ve made it available for people to download as well for $1 on Ravelry.

I’ve used 4 ply cotton and a 1.25mm crochet hook but you can use different sizes depending on what you’re most comfortable with.

• 5 colours of cotton or wool if making a multicoloured fish, or 3 colours if making a plain goldfish.

• Crochet hook.

• Scissors.

• Darning needle for weaving in ends.

• Sewing needle.

• Black and white thread for sewing on the eyes.
