These childrens mitten were knitted using old cross stitch patterns of fantasy animals. Im not exactlu sure what kind of animals, but in the pattern they go by the name Chicken and Dragon.

It´s a perfect scrap yarn project and can easyli be adjusted by changing to bigger or smaller needles or using a thicker or smaller yarn. I used a sport wool yarn (about 300 meters/100 grams).
The mittens are knitted in the round, using double point needles.
Both inside and outside is knitted as the chart.

You will need:
Scrap yarn about 50 g for each pair of mittens (sport or 300m/100g).
Needles 2.0 mm.
Scrap yarn (for the thumb).
Needle to weave in the ends.

Gauge is about 30x30 stitches = 10x10 cm.

Hope you have fun knitting!
