Crochet your very own pony, Pegasus, or unicorn with this all-in-one pattern. I designed these fantasy creatures with a slender, stylized look influenced by My Little Pony and The Last Unicorn. Make them as seen here or get creative with your own color combinations.

With an E/3.5mm hook and worsted weight yarn, your pony will be about 9 inches (23 cm) tall from hoof to ears. For a 7 inch (18 cm) figure, make your ponies with DK yarn and a D/3.35mm hook. The figures stand on their own.

Instructions include variations for making:
-- striped or solid mane and tail
-- contrasting or solid color hooves and legs
-- closed eyelids with yarn lashes or black plastic eyes with felt eyelashes

Materials and tools you will need:
crochet hook,
worsted or DK yarn,
9mm black plastic eyes with safety backs,
black felt,
stuffing,
Chenille Stems or Fuzzy Sticks (pipe cleaners) for Pegasus wings,
tapestry needle,
embroidery scissors,
large-headed pins.

The pattern is for those with intermediate to advanced crochet skills and needle-work skills (not recommended for beginners). Instructions are in English with US crochet terms. Pony parts are made in spiral rounds. To make ponies, you will need to know how to:
-- read a crochet pattern
-- chain
-- slip stitch
-- single crochet
-- single crochet decrease or invisible decrease
-- half-double crochet
-- double crochet
-- color switch

Pattern includes:
-- definitions of stitch abbreviations
-- materials list
-- recommended yarn brands and colors and where to find materials online
-- instructive color photos
