The Fårø Blanket is af single-color blanket with circle ornaments. You can knit the blanket in two sizes: a baby blanket and af throw.

Both blankets are knit with one color, and the pattern is created with knit and purl stitches. The pattern consists of rows of circle ornaments, with the circles split in two by a vertical part. The circle ornaments are created by using purl stitches when the background is knit stitches, and using knit stitches when the background is purl stitches.
The baby blanket has 15 circle ornaments, and the throw has 21 circle ornaments.
The edges of the blankets are knit in moss stitch.

About yarn, needles, blanket size and gauge
The baby blanket size is about 65 x 100 cm (25 x 40 inches). The size will differ depending on your choice of yarn and needle size: the blanket knitted using Feez is smallest; after that comes the blanket knitted with Soft Organic Wool; and largest is the blanket knitted with baby alpaca from Frisenvang. A rule of thumb: the shorter the yarn length, the larger the blanket will be.
Swatch! Using the thinnest yarn (Feez), you can try getting a gauge of 30 stitches/38 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches). Using the thickest yarn (baby alpaca from Frisenvang), you can try getting a gauge of 22 stitches/32 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches).
The throw blanket size: 110 x 155 cm (43 x 61 inches). See if you can get a gauge of 19 stitches/27 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Remember that you are knitting a blanket, so there is no particular fit to consider, so you can decide what you think looks best!
