This pattern is available from dyedbyhandyarns.com for AU$3.00.

A sideways knit scarf using dropped stitch rows as accents. The fringe is knitted on and can be left as a looped fringe or cut for a classic style fringe. This pattern is particularly good for showing off those variegated skeins of yarn you can’t seem to find the right project for.

Suitable for adventurous beginners, or a quick knit for seasoned knitters. Both written instructions and knitting chart are provided. Two sizes are available.

Small: approx. 13cm (5 inches) wide by 174cm (68½ inches) long, excluding 14cm (5½ inch) fringe on each end (wraps twice around the neck)

Large: approx. 13cm (5 inches) wide by 220cm (86½ inches) long, excluding 14cm (5½ inch) fringe on each end (wraps three times around the neck)
