Farmer’s Market is a knitted version of our shopping bag filled with fruits and vegetables bought at a local farmer’s market. The fruits and vegetables are nicely stored in the knitted shopping bag. The bag is knitted in the rounds. Start with a Provisional CO, work few rounds in knit, then a purl round, then knit a few rounds, then join the Provisional CO with the bag to create a small brim. Continue with stripes from top down, ending with 3-Needle BO on the bottom of the bag. Two handles are created as I-cord and sewn on the bag. The fruits and vegetables are knit in the rounds on smaller size needles, with some of the stems and leaves knit separately and sewn on.
