This design was inspired by my desire to have a squishy, simple, classic slipper to hug my feet during the cold months. But also a low cut flat to wear on hardwood floors during the warmer seasons. Once I knit myself a pair it was clear that I needed to be able to knit them for the whole family. So I’ve designed this slipper to fit the whole gang: infant through adult sizes. The stretchy heel will accommodate a wide range of sizes, even those in-betweens.

Sizes:

Infant (Child Small, Child Medium, Child Large, Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large) to fit approximate foot circumference 4 (5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10)” and length 5.5 (6.25, 7, 8.25, 9.5, 10.25, 11)”.

Skills required:

Knitting in the round on DPNs
Judy’s Magic Cast On for toe-up sock cast on
Kitchener Stitch for binding off the heel

Yarn:

If you’re not able to find any of the yarns listed, please consider holding yarn double. I have found that holding a DK to Worsted weight yarn double work just fine, just gauge swatch first!

Happy Knitting!
