This pattern includes instructions for 3 different weight yarns: light worsted/dk, worsted/aran, and bulky. It is designed to fit a Yankee Candle Large Jar candle. Only use natural fibers (acrylic can melt). I generally make mine out of wool, since it is both flame and heat resistant. I also use cotton for its heat resistant qualities. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Materials:

• Main color yarn: approximately 45 yards / 42 meters
• Accent color yarn: approximately 20 yards / 19 meters
• 4.5 mm (7) hook for light worsted/dk weight yarn
• 5 mm (H/8) hook forworsted/aran weight yarn
• 5.5 mm (I/9) hook for bulky yarn
• Yarn needle

Gauge: The pattern includes measurements for how large the base should be after each round. This is the measurement I go off of to determine the correct size.

Skill Level: Confident beginner/Intermediate (You should be familiar with: magic circle, working in the round, increasing, decreasing, changing colors, invisible join, and working into the third loop in half double crochet.)
