This quick and easy mug cozy pattern is perfect for market inventory, gift-giving, or a satisfying make for yourself.

Skill level: Easy

Yarn and hook size: approximately 35 yards of worsted/aran/4 weight yarn (I typically use Lily Sugar ‘N Cream cotton) and a 5 mm hook.
Instructions include notes on how to easily adjust the finished size of the cozy, so any yarn weight and hook combination will work. The pattern also shows how to make the cozy adjustable!

Other materials:
-I typically use a 1 inch coconut shell button for my cozies.
-If you would like your cozy to be adjustable, you can use some cord and a cord lock. I use 2mm cotton piping cord and a 14mm cord lock, but you can use whatever you would like. You can also experiment with slip knots or other methods to make the cozy adjustable.
-If you don’t need the cozy to be adjustable, you will create a button loop when you do the border and do not need extra materials. Instructions are included in the pattern.
