✿ The shawl shape that wraps like a dream

Ever tried a Faroese shawl? Over a hundred years ago, women in the Faroe Islands came up with this shape. It gives the back neckline more room, which makes it so much easier to wrap around yourself.

The construction is simple: a center panel with a triangle increase on each side. This is the knit version, rated Easy/Beginner. Give it a try and see if you love the fit!

• Yardage: 520 yds (475m), 5 balls
• Needles: Size 9 (5.5mm), or size to obtain gauge
• Tools: Removable Stitch Markers · Yarn Needle · Scissors
