Papillon Farraige

This simple yet effective bow tie pattern is designed to create a stylish wardrobe essential with no thrills. The construction of the bow allows to be modified as required to fit all styles, from a slouchy, informal accessory to an elegant a subtle touch.
Farraige is the Irish Gaelic for Sea, and the colorwork representing the waves tells it all!

On the construction
This pattern is worked in two pieces: the body of the bow tie, and the string.
This pattern uses the magic loop technique referring to N1 (needle 1) and N2 (needle 2).

Sizes
One size.

Yarn
For this pattern I used Regia 4 Ply, 75% superwash virgin wool, 25% nylon polyamide. 50g skein = 210 m (229 yd).
Other Yarns are suitable: Cascade 220 fingering, Olann Sock Lite, Studio Donegall Darnie.

Yarn Requirements
10g of a 50g skein of Regia 4Ply. In color:
MC: Black
CC: Light Blue

Tension
28 Sts and 32 rounds = 10cm 4inch over stockinette

Needles Suggestion
2.5 mm US1.5 circular needle
