Cloche style hat with a slipped stitch cable pattern and options for two brim styles. The more feminine split brim is shown, but instructions for a joined brim result in a more gender neutral style.

Pattern is written for 5 sizes to accommodate kids and adults. Directions are given for Infant size with changes for larger sizes in parentheses as follows: Infant (Toddler, Child, Adult S/M, Adult L/XL). Sample shown is Adult S/M on a 21½” head.

MATERIALS
YARN: Approximately 90 (115, 145, 170, 190) yards of worsted weight yarn. Samples were knit with Dream in Color Classy in Amber Glass (100% Merino 250 yards/113 grams per skein).

NEEDLES: dpns, and 12” or 16” circular needle in US sizes 7 (4.5 mm) and 5 (3.75 mm) OR size required to obtain gauge and two sizes smaller. Cable needle.

NOTIONS: 1 button of any size (for split brim option), a darning needle for weaving in ends.
