In April 2013 this pattern was revised and tested. Now it covers more sizes from infant to small adult, and has nice and easy instructions.

Fasolka is a simple beanie knit from bottom to top.

“Fasolka” means “little bean” in Polish.

Sizes:
infant (baby, toddler, child, teen/small adult).
To fit head circumference: 37.5-40 (42.5-45, 47.5-49, 49-50.5, 51-52.5) cm / 15-16 (17-18, 19-20, 21-22)“.

Yarn:
Elian Merino - 100% merino, 1 skein (50g, 194 yards / 177 meters)
DROPS Baby Merino - 100% merino, 1 skein (50g, 191 yards / 175 meters) or any other light sport yarn.

Needles:
US 2 - 3.0 mm - circular needle (or 5 double pointed needles) US 4 - 3.5 mm - circular needle (or 5 double pointed needles), or any other size that gives you correct gauge.

Notions:
stitch marker, tapestry needle for weaving, pompom maker (optional).

Gauge:
26 sts x 34 rows in 10 cm / 4” in Stockinette Stitch worked in the round with needle US 4 / 3.5 mm.
