INFORMATION
Fatherland is a tribute to my beloved homeland Ukraine, as well as a way to commemorate my father’s life, and where he now lay in peace. It was inspired by flower crowns worn as a part of the Ukrainian traditional costume.
The sweater is knit from the top down, which means you can try it on as you knit to fit your unique style. It’s knit seamlessly and in the round, with colorwork adorning the yoke and bottoms of sleeves. The sweater is cropped, but easily adjustable (just remembered you’ll need a bit more yarn). Choose colors with great contrast to really make the motif pop!
