Gatekeeper sweater is worked top down in the round, seamlessly. It features beautiful color work motifs on the round yoke, body and before the cuffs. The pattern begins at the neckline and working your way down to the underarms, where you will split for sleeves by placing stitches on hold. After you finish knitting the body, you’ll place the sleeve stitches back onto your needles and finish the sweater.

The colorwork on Gatekeeper sweater is so fun to knit and can be made in one or two colors - or even more, you decide!

I used Brooklyn Tweed Imbue Sport, which is a 3-ply worsted spun sport weight yarn. 20.5 micron Merino Wool from Utah and Nevada - scoured, dyed, spun and finished in the US!
You can use any sport weight yarn you desire, but I encourage you to give this base a try. It’s next-to-skin soft!
