Faux Cables Cowl
Catherine, a former instructor at Small Studio, wrote out this pattern based on a cowl she received as a gift many years ago. The person that gifted the item no longer had the pattern so Catherine pieced it together and put it on paper for others to enjoy. This cowl uses left leaning and right leaning stitches to create a convincing fake-cabled look. For a larger cowl that hangs farther away from the neck, add a multiple of 9 stitches and increase or decrease by 1 stitch to make the ribbing even.
