This pattern is a super simple single stitch that is adaptable to any size, yarn weight, hook size, or project, with a border and chain loop to hang on a door, cabinet, or wherever I may have thrown the poor little cloth. I chose to make a double-stranded dishcloth because it’s quicker to crochet, produces a better texture for scrubbing, and it’s perfect for stashbusting all of those little skeins of cotton yarn you have!

Gauge is not important for this pattern, but if you are using a different yarn weight or hook size than I am using, you may need to adjust your hook size to accommodate the stiffer nature of Tunisian crochet.

This is an easy-level pattern, and a link to a video tutorial on Tunisian crochet is included. I have also included photos to illustrate some notes and tips that may be helpful.

Stitches: chain stitch, Tunisian foundation row, Tunisian reverse stitch, single crochet, slip stitch
