This is a simple infinity scarf - an excellent beginner crochet project. It only requires you to know four stitches: chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet, and half double crochet. It could work for men or women, teens or adults in any color, fiber, yarn thickness, or color pattern you choose.

To make the scarf longer (bigger loops) or shorter, just increase or decrease the starting chain. I figured out the length by looping the starting chain around my head twice and picked something that felt right.

The gauge is not really important - I wouldn’t spend a lot of time trying to get it just right.

You will need at least one skein of yarn. If you are making it longer or thicker, you will want another skein. I only had one skein of this color, so I only used one skein…
