My latest Favorite Summer Socks!
Add a fun pop of color that sits below the ankle, and above summer sneakers. This pattern is travel ready! Nothing tricky or complicated, just some adjustments that make the heel fit properly with no leg to keep them from sliding down. Rummage through your stash and find some wild yarn to cast on a pair :)

Construction
Top down socks, with a rolled contrast cuff designed to fit just below the ankle.
Modified gusseted heel to keep the sock in place with no leg to hold it up.
My best-fit wedge toe (which also happens to look great in contrast colors)

Sizes
3 sizes are included to fit foot circumferences 8-10” (20-25cm)

Gauge & Needles
8.5 stitches = 1 inch (2.5cm)
2.25mm ~ or needle/yarn combo to achieve gauge

Yarn
Sample shown with:
Kelbourne Woolens Perennial Mini, color Neon Coral - and - Spun Right Round Tough Sock, color Vixen.

Contrast color: 5g for cuff
Main color: 50g for heel to toe

Technique & Difficulty
I prefer MagicLoop for knitting socks. The pattern is written with this method in mind, however, it is easily adapted to short circulars and DPNs.

Beginner sock-knitter friendly. No unnecessarily tricky bits, just a few tips to make a perfect pair.
