Hand knitted washcloths are wonderful to use, because they get softer and softer with age. They are also quick and fun to knit, which makes them excellent for gift giving. Washcloths are so popular to make that many yarn companies keep a line of cotton washcloth yarns in their collections at all times. This project will help you practice yo (yarn over) increases, k2tog (knit two together) decreases, and garter stitch knitting. Be warned, though—once you start making washcloths, you (and the people you give them to) might get hooked on them!
