A magical one for June’s #freebefridayknits - it being the month of midsummer and all that - and actually I just stumbled upon him lying in the forest (stop dreaming Claire!)

My little fawn of the forest is knitted (almost) in one piece joining as you go - the legs and ears you sew on after.

I’ve knitted him/ her … not sure yet! - using fine Alpaca and Alpaca mix yarn PLUS a touch of kidsilk from my fave - Drops yarn - and doubled up using sometimes three colours at once to create ‘wild fawn’ subtle tones

You’ll also need a pair of 24 mm toy eyes and toy filling….

AND - there is also a YouTube video illustrating how to make up your fawn and how to make it look as real as can be (given it’s made from yarn and not fur!)
- the link to that is given within the pattern
