A light and airy poncho that is worked in one piece with no sewing!

Size: 1 (2)

Length right arm (short side): ca. 40 (50) cm

Length left arm (long side): ca. 50 (60) cm

NOTE TO THE SIZES: The length of the right arm and left arm can easily be changed to your preffered length. See “Size guide” in the pattern for more instructions.

Suggested needles: Circular needle 5.0 mm (US 8) 80 cm (32 inches)
NOTE! If you do not want to cast on stitches using the Magic Loop method, you can use 2 circular needles 5.0 mm (US 8)

Gauge: 18 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) in stockinette stitch on 5.0 mm (US 8) needles after washing and blocking
NOTE! The gauge before washing and blocking can be a bit tighter than the gauge after, since the poncho has such a light and airy look.

Materialer: 150 (200) g Pure Silk from Knitting for Olive (50 g = 250 m)
The poncho is worked with one strand of yarn.

  • Judy’s Magic Cast On
  • Magic Loop (not necessary if you use 2 circular needles when casting on stitches)
  • Knitted increases from the RS
