This is a great pattern for beginner knitters. It has a wonderful lace quality without needing a crazy pattern that you constantly have to keep going back to. This is also a pattern that you can easily memorize so it’s a perfect project to bring with you when you’re out and about!

Materials
2 ¾ mm straight Knitting needles (you can also use a circular needle if you prefer)
Darning needle
2 skeins of Cascade sock yarn (or any yarn with a #2 thickness or fingering weight) Approximately 874 yards of yarn needed.
Towel
Blocking pins (dress pins or straight pins work as well)
Blocking Board (Cork board works too)
