This simple, but oh-so-lovely feather and fan (or old shale) pattern shawl was designed especially to show off the color patterning in space dyed yarn – its colors dapple the pattern’s undulating waves with graceful perfection. elann.com knit and photographed the project as a versatile shawl, 51 cm (20″) wide, by 168 cm (66″) long, but the pattern can also be used to produce a throw approx. 51cm (40″) wide x 168 cm (66″) long or a full size afghan of about 153 cm (60″) wide x 168 cm (66″) long.

Experience Level: Beginner

Size: Finished width (after blocking) approximately 51, 102, 153 cm (20″ 40″, 60″); finished length approximately 66″
