If you have made any of my patterns, you know I love to play with construction and get inventive with stitch types. This square was born out of my experimentation with a special type of extended double crochet I ‘dreamt’ up. The result was a feathery looking stitch, that when placed close together and in a circle, overlapped slightly and reminded me of a feather duster.

I made some major changes to the outside rounds of this square partway through testing, so many of these testers actually made the square twice!
