The Feathered Friends Cowl is a lace cowl that is knitted in the round. It is suitable for intermediate to advanced knitters and is the perfect project for a single skein of light fingering to fingering weight yarn.
Pattern Instructions are provided both in written and charted form.

This cowl has been designed for the Pittenweem Community Craft project 2022. The Pittenweem Community Craft project is an annual event where handmade items are sold for charity during the Pittenweem Art Festival held in the East Neuk (Kingdom of Fife, Scotland).
This vibrant community project brings together both local residents and visitors to make a wide range of hand-crafted items. Each year the crafters are inspired by a theme, and the theme for 2022 is “Feathered Friends”.
The chosen charities for 2022 are the Kilminning Nature Reserve project in Crail (East Neuk) and the DEC Ukraine Crisis Appeal. The proceeds from sales of this pattern through Ravelry will go the Pittenweem Community Craft project to be given to these charities. Printed copies of the pattern will be available to buy during the Pittenweem Art Festival at the Coastline Community Church in Pittenweem, Fife, UK, from Saturday 6th to Saturday 13th August 2022.
