Valentines Day often reminds us of what we should do year round - show love to those who mean the most to us. To spread some love, all you need is some needles, yarn and a little time. This pattern is a fun, fast project that is sure to bring a smile to your face as you make it, and use it. And you can share the love by giving a knit dishcloth to someone else! Using just knits and purls, watch a heart grow in the center of this washcloth.

This pattern would also be suitable for a potholder/trivet
or displayed as a decorative table or shelf mat.

This pattern has both written and charted instructions for the washcloth.

The completed washcloth is approximately 7.5 inches square.

You need to be able to knit and purl to complete this project.

Gauge is not extremely important.

You can get approximately 3 of these washcloths from one Lily’s Sugar’n Cream skein of yarn.

I recommend using a solid color so the heart in the middle of the washcloth stands out.
