Whether you’re feelin’ fancy, feelin’ casual, or just Feelin’ Loopy, this shawl fits the mood and the occasion! Loads of loops form the edge of this semi-circular shawl that is fun to knit, and even more fun to show off. This design features three I-cord techniques: standard I-cord which is knit-in as you work your way along the border, I-cord edging along the sides, and an I-cord bindoff to pull it all together!

Wingspan approximately 45”; depth approximately 22”

Needles: US Size 5 circular needle, 32” or longer, and two size 5 double pointed needles.

Recommended Yarn: Fingering weight. Shown in Sock-aholic® Serene, available from Knitters Brewing Company, which is dyed by hand at our brewery using a wonderfully soft 4-ply Luxury Sock Yarn made from 50% FS Alpaca, 30% Fine Merino, and 20% Tencel. Each skein contains 470 yards, and knits at a gauge of 7-9 stitches per inch using size 1-2 needles. This yarn is fabulous for warm yet lightweight garments, and its softness makes it a pleasure to handle and wear.

Washing Instructions: Hand washing in cool water is recommended to prolong the life of any hand-knit or hand-crocheted item. Roll in a towel to remove excess water (do not twist or wring), and lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight.
