I wish everyone enjoys making this cowl as much as I did.

Reversible cowl using 2 colors of Yarn Adventures Aran or Yarn Adventures Sock, in 2-color brioche stitch and motif in double knitting. The pattern was available only as a kit at Yarn Adventures online shop.

Some previous knowledge of 2-color brioche knitting and double knitting is useful but not essential. These techniques can be conquered by an adventurous beginner.

Gauge: Gauge is not crucial, but different gauge gives different finished size.
Version 1 – Aran: aprox. 16 st = 10 cm/4 in in 2-color brioche, unblocked
Version 2 – Sock: aprox. 30 st = 10 cm/4 in in 2-color brioche, unblocked

Knit it with or without the Double Knitting Chart. Repeat the “Double Knitting” chart as many times as you want, and place the motif(s) wherever pleases you.

Just keep in mind that double knitting over brioche stitch will make the fabric pull in.
