Yarn The Fibre Co. Cumbria Worsted (60% merino wool, 30% Masham wool, 10% mohair; 238 yd / 3.5 oz): Appleby Castle, 5 (6, 6, 7, 7, 8) skeins.

Needles Size 4 (3.5 mm): 16” circular and set of double-pointed. Size 5 (3.75 mm): 16” circular. Size 6 (4 mm): 16” and 24” circular and set of double-pointed. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers; removable markers; stitch holders; cable needle; tapestry needle.

Gauge 20 sts and 27 rnds = 4” in St st on largest needle; 26 sts and 27 rnds = 4” in cable patt on largest needle.

Notes The lower ribbing of this pullover is worked flat in two pieces, then the pieces are joined and the rest of the body is worked in the round to the underarm. The sleeves are worked separately in the round, then the sleeves and body are joined to work the yoke.
