When the sea wind blows a headband is just the thing to keep your ears warm and your hair out of the way! Make this chunky ear warmer headband either knitted flat or in the round and in sizes to suit a toddler, child or adult.

The yarn I’ve used is the snuggly King Cole Value Super Chunky and only a small amount is needed. For the Small - 30g/27y/25m, Medium - 35g/32y/29m, and Large - 40g/36y/33m.

The needles are size 10mm or US15 with instructions for knitted flat using single pointed needles, and instructions knitted in the round for 40cm/16” circular for the large size and DPNs recommeded for the small and medium.

The techniques required are stocking stitch, ribbing and wrap and turn. Great for making speedy gifts in any colour you like!
