This is a cube shape felted basket. It is knit from the bottom flat and picked up the stitches around the bottom and shape the corner to make cube shape. It is a garter stitch construction to make fabrics even from the inside and outside without curling in or out

Material Suggestions : 5 skeins (3 skeins +2 skeins) of Cloudborn Highland Roving or 4 skeins (3 skeins +1 skein) of Cascade Spuntaneous Or any Super Bulky weight yarns of the yardage to get the pattern size

MEASUREMENTS:
Before felting
Base: 13” by 13”
Height: 12”
After felting
Base:10”X10”
Height: 9”
(I went thru two 30 mins quick wash cycle in the front loading machine, the first cycle came out 11”X 11”, 10”)

If you use Cloudborn Highland Roving, 5 whole skeins will create 10”X10”X10” basket after felting. The sample is knit 3 skeins (437g 262yds) of Charcoal Heather, 2 skeins (213g/128yds) of Maize heather. You can use 4 skeins of Cascade Spuntaneous to make the sample size

Gauge 9.5sts X20 rows in 4” square in garter sts (gauge checking is important if you want to make square shape)

Adjust the size by cast on less/more stitches in the beginning or go thru more/less felting cycles.
Check frequently if you intend to get a certain size
