This is a fun knitting pattern for a felted beer mitten or pop can cozy. It is a mitten and cozy in one, great for tailgating or for enjoying a can or bottle of pop and beer around the camp fire on a chilly evening. Make it in team colors and it will be the perfect gift.

Part of the mitten is knitted in the round using five double pointed needles. The pattern has several pictures showing the process of making the cozy, as well as instructions for felting in the washing machine.

I like to use Patons Classic Wool for this project. Make sure you use 100% wool if you choose to use a different type of yarn.

The pattern is for one size fits all.
