This felted lunch tote was designed with my knitting students in mind. This beginner project is one you can be proud of as any mistakes, uneven tension, holes, etc… all disappear in the wash! You end up with a very usable bag perfect for lunch or a small knitting project.

This bag is knitted with two strands of 100% pure worsted weight wool starting from the base of the bag and picking up stitches to work in the round all the way to the top.

You will need three skeins of yarn. Two for your main colour and one for the base and i-cord handles.

I have included links to two YouTube videos for instructions on how to felt your bag. Please be sure to check your bag often as it felts in order to achieve a size you are happy with.

Have fun and happy knitting!
