This pattern is for a felted long beanie hat. It’s knitted in lots of colours, so is ideal for using up your leftovers and stash yarns. I use Shetland 2 ply yarn but you can adapt the pattern to any weight of yarn.

If you haven’t felted before, this is a good starter pattern, but you will need to refer to some felting instructions. I have put together a set of instructions and calculations (sold separately) so that the finished knitted, felted item fits!

This pattern takes at least 75 and up to 100 grams of yarn, err on the side of caution for felting and make sure that you have around 100 grams.
