Inspired by bouncing lambs and picket fences, this hat has no hurdles to leap for beginning knitters, making it a wonderful first choice for working in the round. The decreases at the top of the hat form a sweet daisy, inspired by the promise of each Spring season.

If substituting, look for a DK or sport to sub in for the farm yarn selected in this pattern. Cormo is similar to Merino wool in texture and this yarn has a slightly nubbly finish, formed by the 2-ply structure. Keep that in mind if you want the same look. If you’d like your stitches to pop a little more, a rounder yarn with more plies should make that easy to achieve!

My formatting for Low Vision patterns follows the guidelines laid forth by the Accessible Patterns group here on Ravelry. Low Vision patterns are written in a sans-serif, black font in 24 point text. They do not contain italics. Images and charts have been enlarged or replaced with text. Additionally, my Low Vision patterns contain linking for ‘skipping around’ within the larger document, and are fully typed out without parentheses to make it easier on your screen reader. No charts are included with this pattern. Some of my LV patterns have been tested in more than one screen reader program. This LV pattern was proofed by momcook
